The Nitromare, what can I say, the past 4 years the car has been campaigned as a nostalgia funny car.
It came to life in this format when racing a nostalgia NITRO funny car was not in fashion, but we persevered, following the dream, hoping one day there would be other cars to run along side of, let alone compete against. During this long sometimes up side down journey there was plenty of ups and downs, but after all is said and done, here we are having fun, and surging forward.
2004 was a year full of excitement , from the start to the finish we have met some great people and been to some new race tracks.
The highlight of our year was Meeting Dan Nelson from BASF, he stuck it out for a weekend with us at Luskville Dragway , and at the end of the day liked what we had to offer, he liked it so much he moved right in, and is now our paint and refinish specialist!
We also have a great relationship with Castrol Canada, Barrie Autohaus, Jonkmans and Sons Greenhouses, Carquest and Unipro Auto glass, all fantastic partners to race with.
2005 is already starting to fill up, it looks like the team is heading out to Vancouver, BC. Brantford ON. and Montreal PQ for special appearances, and racing all over Canada and the US.
It will be a busy year but a fun one....
