The Horizontal Bi-Fold door system is an innovative new way to open your business to the outside. This horizontal bi-fold system folds up to form its own integrated awning. Unlike traditional accordion or sliding door systems, this movable wall requires no extra space within the adjacent walls for storing the open panels or the addition of a separate awning. No track or threshold required at ground level.

Horizontal Bi-Fold provides unobstructed access to an outside space in a cost effective and simple manner. These horizontal bi-fold walls are fully glazed and are available in any width or height required. Up to a 70 foot wide panel can operate on a single motor. The panels may combine virtually any combination of glazing materials for either aesthetic or security reasons. The system has been designed for simple installation in either new or existing buildings and is well sealed against the elements.

Horizontal Bi-Fold System:

  • Horizontal bi-fold, fully glazed aluminum panels.
  • Open to form instant canopy.
  • Requires no storage space for panels, as with accordion or sliding doors, (no floor space or frontage lost).
  • Glazed with single or double glass.
  • Weather sealed.
  • Easily installed in existing buildings.
  • Custom designed for your specific application.
  • Unlimited width.
  • Up to 70 feel wide panels use a single motor.
  • Clearance in open position up to 10 feet.
  • Secure in both open and closed position.
  • No threshold or tracks.
  • Very low maintenance.
  • Available in either ten degree or flat profile in closed position.
  • Also available in cable drive or screw drive configuration.

The extensive application possibilities for horizontal bi-folds include:
  • retail,
  • institutional,
  • hospitality (particularly
    restaurants with outdoor patios),
  • sport facilities,
  • pool enclosures and
  • garden centers (pictured here)
